My wife and daughter wanted to go out on the boat. When we got there the wind was kickin up some white caps so I decided to target sandies instead of trying to stay on a brush pile for crappie. First spot we stopped was loaded we never moved for 2 1/2 hrs. Well I was going to post pictures but it's not letting me now. The graph was loaded like I've never seen and stayed that way until the trollers came by with their big motor within 15' of our boat. Had to cast at them after that but then they came back. Then the trollers came back after they saw my rod bent constantly. And they left again. This went on for awhile and eventually the trollers left and my daughter got to reel in fish after fish. It was a great day with my family and the wind eventually died down to a comfortable level. We took home 24 and let more than that go along with a bunch of 14" hybrids. I'll post pics later if it lets me. wopics

Point in Saline Bay area. Just look for the trollers, they've been wearing that spot out for the past couple weeks.

Please use your trolling motor if there is somebody fishing there or keep your distance if your trolling. For some reason people on Palestine haven't learned that using the big motor scares the fish off. (I don't mean you, I don't know you) Those guys yesterday could have loaded the boat if they parked next to us but instead they were just catching a couple every once in awhile hmmm . Learned my lesson on calling trollers over last time. We were wearing them out and had been watching another boat trolling not catching many. We waved them over and told them if they'll cast right out there they'd get one every cast. They said yeah we know where they're at, then trolled right over where we told them to cast, then went back to where they had been trolling behind us. (these people had been keeping there distance, I just thought I was helping them but I guess they didn't want to fish that way). Yesterday I just had to tell myself that maybe they didn't know any better or don't know how to fish for them any other way. Anyways, I don't have a problem with trollers, I've done it before, there were probably 5 boats trolling the area yesterday and the rest were respectful. Sorry that turned into a rant soap

What are the chances! We idled past you guys on our way to the back of that cove Sunday. I pointed out the "cute little kid catching fish" to my wife as we went by. I could tell y'all were catching them, but decided to keep on our black bass hunt. You weren't kidding about the wind, we started across to Ledbetter before deciding that wasn't a good idea...
