 1997 Evinrude Intruder 175 alarm.

I have a single beep alarm going off when I am on plane only. Water pump is pumping good. I premix oil. Anyone know what this is?

Low oil pressure warning from the VRO. The other 2 warnings on this motor are constant horn: over heat and low oil in the main oil tank.

Took the VRO off. Fuel pump only system. I mix oil at 50.1. This alarm is going off on plane not at idle.

I would eliminate all wires going to alarm except for the heat warning wire. Does it beep when you turn the key switch on?

Try disconnecting the vacuum switch here: http://www.boats.net/parts/search/BRP/EV...ENTS/parts.html Make sure all of the oil system wires are disconnected.
