You couldn't ask for a better day to fish a tournament. We had 72 teams fish Ray Roberts today and paid out over 14k. Congrats to the team of Keith Ivy and Tim Kisor who led the way with 24.86, Brad Dunn and Scott Barnett finished less than a pound back with 23.92 and were so close to winning an additional 7k on the Phoenix First Flight Bonus. I met some really cool tournament fishermen on the water this weekend...we said it would take about a 26 lb sack. Congrats to the winners! Hell, if I could weigh 40 plus dinks...I would of been in the money! Great weekend at Ray Roberts...1st class facilities at Isle Du Bois makes for a great camping weekend.

Man talk about conditions changing. Fished the lake the two weekends before in 30 mph winds and hammered them. Showed up to the tourney to see slick as glass water and our pattern didn't pan out. Just didn't adjust and it showed with a poor performance. Anyways that was our first tourney with TTO and was very impressed with their set up.

congrats to all the guys that did well. we had a small limit and it was very humbling. Looking forward to the next tournament to hopefully get back up in the standings.

Hats of to TTO, they run an excellent tournament. This was my first time to fish with them.. Donnie, Darryl, and crew did a superb job. Looking forward to fishing many more with the TTO crew.

To the guy who buried his partners truck and trailer in the ditch when trying to park. I hope you got that thing washed after weigh in !

I happen to know the feller who the truck belongs to, let's just say he was not a Happykamper.

I might add, to whomever was the nice guy to pull out the stuck truck, you left your tow strap, if anyone knows holler at me and I will see if the truck owner can get it back to the rightful owner.

I was the one that pulled him out... It wasn't easy backing up 100 yards with the boat and trailer while he was riding the ditch! I felt sorry for him but we got him out. Thanks RL for letting me borrow that strap. I know you had to get in the water and I figured he would be able to get it back to you somehow.
