For the first time in 11 years at work, I am taking a full week off of work, and am going fishing. Got a media this weekend at Squaw then Monday I am headed down to Ivie for a few days if not the whole week.

Anyone else going to be down there next week?

All the weekends I spend down there a few years ago, I cant wait to see the lake again. It's been almost a year since I was there.

Hopefully the big girls will come out to play!

Fishing has still been pretty good. Not catching numbers but the quality is good.

That's one thing I like about Ivie.

its never been a huge number lake for me (ive only fished it for about 10 years now) and its always produced good fish for me. I've seen a few monsters out there and had my heart broken a few times, but it always gives some redemption.

Caught 2 ft and still coming up a little. Good time of year for spinnerbaits in the bushes.

It looks like Ivie has caught some water from this last storm. Is the water muddy?

The water has to get to the bushes first and it hasn't made it that far yet.

How will the rising water affect fishing this weekend? Fish the same places as usual?

Will do, I'm sure I'll see you on the lake.
