I am wanting to take a guided trip for crappie. Would prefer a lake in DFW area or within 100 miles of DFW. Does anybody know of a good crappie guide?

There are a lot of very good crappie guides on here and you will get some good references I am sure, but that being said, You should really consider a trip with Ernest Paty. Not only will you catch a few fish, you will pick up a LOT of detailed info on getting ahead of the fish.

From one Joshua native to another, go with BigCrappie.com if you can get on the books between now and early July.

Tell them Laner said "hi".

Like others have said, I would pick a lake or body of water you would like to fish and find a guide there.

If it is Ray Hubbard or Lavon I recommend Tommy Ezell http://www.texascrappieguide.com/

Good Luck!
