Do you think they are? I know I would. It would be nice to watch BASStrakk live to know where I was standing.

I don't think they use it to check things like basstrakk. I think they use it to have another screen to view there sonar on.

Not to make them worry....we'll sort of....but, more to let them know if they are on fish compared to the rest...or not. Sometimes you tell yourself that the fishing is tough and it must be for everyone. When everyone else is doing great. And vise versa. More of a gauge as to the effectiveness of your pattern.

Christie said he wasn't going to look at basstrakk but a spectator yelled out to him what Evers was doing so he decided to look. Unfortunately for him the spectator was right. Least he had a little time to try and find a big sack and he wasn't shocked at the weigh in by what Evers had. I'm sure he was shocked on the water when he saw the basstrakk but at least it wasn't live in front of all the fans at the weigh in.

Yeah I could see how you might be able to determine certain things by keeping up with the tracker.

With a format like MLF, for example, I have seen anglers make changes based on the tracking system. If someone is putting up fish after fish early in the morning, you could conclude that they are most likely on a schooling pattern.

I use one on my dash, but I use it for satellite mapping, Navionics and another screen for sonar (linked) if needed

I do the same thing. I have an iPad with Navionics in it. It is better mapping than Lakemaster. It's always nice to be able to compare the two as I move. Just thought with the addition of live tracking of your competitors would be kinda useful.

.....maybe discouraging as well. Depends on your mindset I guess.
