Before this rain started HC was right at 15' low, now it's right at 12' and the creeks are out of their banks and running fast. The creeks are over the county roads here around the ranch. It should catch another 1.5 to 2', might get it to 10' low by in the morning. The fishing is really going to suck now, but should have a great spawn with all the flooded cover.
6.25" of rain in the past 3 days.
If we're lucky it might catch enough water to open the Hwy 180 bridge ramp.

I want to know what happened to all the fish. Hopefully the few fish in the lake will have a great spawn and it will return to the lake we all love.

The fish are there, give it a year to stabilize. Every time a lake that low comes up fast it's a mess for a while. Let the grass get growing, a good spawn or so and toads will be caught again.

Just curious, have they removed the barrier to the access point inside the creek? Peeler's pier I think? I was hoping to take my kayak out there this sprint and summer and use that success point, but last time I was there it was closed

Interesting map I found that shows the creek flows that feed Ivie, Spence and a few others, Ivie still has decent flows heading in based on these gauges. I have almost given up on Spence ever catching any good water

Another .7" of rain last night. Creeks still out of their banks and HC is at 10.3' low at this time and rising.

I have a tournament there next weekend. Any ideas on what to do with the high muddy water?

It was tough before the rise. I can't imagine it getting much better. I'd say find as clean a area as you can and try and grind it out.

Just saw a pic from a buddy and it looks like they opened the ramp by the bridge.
