Post title pretty much says it all. I have a kayak and am not scared to drag it through brush/mud etc...machete my way through if necessary. Love fishing small creeks/ponds and such, as the kayak excels there. Want a little place not many people know about or are willing to bother with. Suggestions?

I'm from Bryan myself and frequently visit the forum for insight into hidden gems in the area. Seems like we would go to about the same extents to find them. Not going to hijack your thread, but I'm curious to see what others are willing to reveal.

Anything small and creek fed within two hours of C.S. will be too muddied up for bass for a few weeks. Have to step up on a non=windy day to deeper protected waters of Gibbons Creek, Somerville, Bastrop, Fayette County, Stillhouse, Belton or Lake Raven and for those, areas absent of any pleasure boaters.
Please please wear bright clothing even in unused parts of lakes.... seen a father and young daughter or son dressed in camouflage in a olive green kayak in middle of olive green lakewaters between me and sun. I am careful and never saw them but thankfully they were not quite on my boat's path.

Go up 933 from Waco to Whitney. You'll find some decent streams.
I'm on other forums that deal with the old turbo powered Buicks.;)

Lake Naconiche and Ratcliff are good places to take a kayak.
