Took my ole lady for some creek bass at upper fossil creek. (I-35 @ Western Center BLVD) She landed a nice bass in the 4 pound area an topped it off with some other smaller bucket mouths as well. All fish caught off Texas Rigged Red Shad U-Tail 6 inch worms. Temp:80 (Windy). Water: Murky.

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.

Where did you park at? Over by Braums maybe? That's near my house and have considered giving it a shot

Is there a decent sized area to fish there? And same question on where did you park? Any idea if there are cats around?

I parked on the side of Jimmy Johns closest to Flips Bar and Grill. You can fish under the bridge all the way to the dam
behind those apartments.. Lots of little holes dotting the shore line. I myself have not caught any cats, but i ave seen them blowing up in the morning on the top. The deepest parts in the middle of that little creek are around 15-16 feet. I know strange right. texas

Great to hear thanks! Very excited for this year. Hopefully I'll have a couple nice spots to go here soon!

Yes you can... I myself don't, only catch and release. However I have seen many who keep what they catch.

A buddy and I went down there on Sunday morning and caught a few bass and about 2 dozen perch on night crawlers. Not a bad little place in the middle of an urban area.
