It has set for the past 2yrs so after I drained all the old fuel it would fire up but spit and sputtered real bad and just reved it a few times but it would only hit 2500 rpms and I was just making sure it was normal

Don't know about the 200, my 250 pro xs has one set at 1600 rpm's. I would think it would be for all outboard motors now days.

Put the muffs on it and put it in gear and see if it will rev more.
From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

good idea to take it to a shop an have it hooked up to a computer an make sure the injectors are working.
