Is the BD Shad really worth the cost of these swimbaits? I was told by a friend that these baits will catch a lot of fish but would like to get some more opinions before spending $25-$35 on one lure.

Any response is appreciated!

I would save up another $20 and get the original Bull Shad.

SO in the video he mentions(several times) that this bait is straight up an exact copy of a lure already being produced! Isn't this a copyright/patent infringement? If I guess the original guy went thru the process to do so which I would assume he did. Really weird to hear this and also having Boyd's name attached to it with all the other drama he has going on with the last Elite event and all... really curious and I'm sure someone on here has some good answers!

IMO it's bs to copy an original bait such as this. The original guy has worked his butt off to get where he is today.

I would hardly call the bull shad an original bait....Hampton shad and high power herring come to mind. Some of the advertising behind the bull shad is quite "shocking"....
