I'm taking the old man and one of his customers to fork this weekend and this rain has me extremely worried because I feel like it is going to effect the bite tremendously knowing my luck. I take him frog fishing every year and want to make this trip even better than the years before. Any tips would be great, thanks and hope y'all smoke em Alllllllllllllllllll

We'll I'm no Stick on Fork, but shallow running cranks like Manns Minus 1 and the Bandit footloose are showing promise.. Frogs and flukes are a main stay imo... Try the little CB's around stickups and sparse cover, if there are any guarding fry you'll get smashed.. Frogs for the thick stuff, should be fine, have fun..

Thank you I appreciate it. I'm sure it could be tough with after all this rain. We are just gonna give it our best shot and see what happens from there.

Don't go in with your expectations too high right now. Fishing is tough. Just enjoy the weather, enjoy the day and enjoy and fish you do catch. Fork is in a funk..

The reality is both Sinkey and Ken are right....Billy knows what he's talking about on Fork most of the time...mainly because Kay tells him. bolt

if we get the rain they are forecasting tonight and tomorrow the gates at the dam will stay open and that kinda kills the fishing here.

Now if you were to come back next month or early in June I'd say you'd have a much better shot. Particularly with those crank baits mentioned.
