I could not find one single area for bank fishing on this rich snobby body of water. Anyone know of ANY public fishing locations on this lake?
A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.

Yeah, Eagle Mountain is pretty much unfishable from the bank. Lake Worth has a handful of spots if that's not too far from you. Benbrook has a lot of bank access but can get crowded on the weekends.

Also, if you go up 1220, you can park at eagle mountain park and take the long hike down to party cove and bank Fisk there. There's also augies sunset cafe where you pay $3 to fish off the dock. I've been to harbor one a few times and fished there. No one ran me off (not saying they won't though) if none of these spots work, I'd suggest making friends with someone that has a boat. These few places are all that I know of. Worth has some hidden gems as well (under 820 is definitely not one of them lol) check out mosque point on west cahoba (little hike), a few spots along east cahoba, casino beach and other bank along watercress. Hope this was helpful

What blows me away when I read this is that I fished Eagle Mountain back in the day (1970) and there were no houses anywhere. Same on Grapevine. We used to slay the sand bass on Grapevine. Nowadays Grapevine has houses all around the lake. I assume Eagle Mountain is the same way? How about lake Bridgeport? Is it covered with houses too?

I hear ya FishHarder.. I am 41 and developed my fishing skills as a youngster on Eagle Mountain lake and the Crappie house on Lake Worth with my grandfather. Pretty sad on the fate of both of these old school fishing waters.
Grapevine has sprung up a lot of houses like you said, however I can still manage some good bank fishing on the south side of the lake.
A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.

EM is by far the nicest "deep water" lake within 20 miles of fort worth and been my local lake for many years now. I am still learning to fish it and have caught some nice fish there. The lake experience is amazing. Always met great people and Ive fished ALL the marinas and never been ran off. I also have a boat though and don't bank fish it much besides in marinas. I wish it wasn't closed Id be there now. Yes there are lots of houses and I don't blame them a bit for living on that lake.
