Hi guys just joined up because I could not find an up to date report or thread anywhere!! Haha with that being said I was wondering if anyone knows any decent catfishing bank spots in the Fort Worth area. I live over off of Beach street and 820 in Haltom City. I am looking for any easy access spots that have some catfish and possibly some bass also. I'm going to go try Meadowmere park on grapevine this weekend and see if that produces at all. I'm open to any suggestions so please send em this way!! Thanks

Hey ya Bryan, I live real close to your local area and fish alot of the small lakes and ponds close by. You said you are looking for cats right. I have seen some people smoking the cats on the Trinity River. Its right off South Beach Street and I-30. You can park at that huge church or the Fort Worth Row club. Not sure if there is consumption ban there but I do know they are reeling in channels and blues there. I myself do alot of Bass and crappie fishing and know that the bite can be quite good there as well.

A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.

Awesome thanks a bunch! That's great to hear and very close to where I live so that's a plus. If all goes well I may find myself down there Friday morning. Thanks for the help!

FYI yes the consumption warning is over the Trinity in that area, basically up to Lake Worth.

Mostly a catch and release fisherman here but thanks I appreciate the heads up! Wouldn't mind a little fish dry sometime soon though!
