Hello, my name is Robert, I am a beginner bass fisherman but I am picking up quickly and I caught my PB so far last weekend, 7.5-8lbs(manual fish scale)...
I am looking to see if anyone on here knew or fished with my Uncle Bruce Godbey. He mainly fished dfw area and Lake Fork, but I know he did go on some exotic fishing trips as well. He was very serious about bass fishing and he was very much an inspiration in my life as a kid and growing up until he passed unfortunately several years back.. Id like to meet and talk to his fishing partner which Ive been told is on this forum. Please contact me if anyone on here knew my uncle Bruce Godbey. I have LOTS of questions about his fishing life, etc!!!!
I got into fishing after he passed, and boy do I wish I would've started this learning life with his guidance.. He was VERY good IMO, since I saw sides of his fridge COVERED in fish over 7lbs. Id like to say his son and I have formed a fishing team but seems I am more ready and wanna go to the lake way more...
