Loc: Lake Texoma/Texas
Here's a few pictures from the last week or so. Starting to get a few stripers mixed in with mostly sand bass. Some days we are catching over a hundred fish and I had one day that caught almost 200. Lots of small fish showing up and releasing most of them to keep the better fish. I've even seen a few big stripers being caught. Even though the fish have been small, the action has been mostly good. There's only been a couple days where the fish eluded me in the last two weeks. I'm just happy to see full boxes of fish coming in again and glad to see Texoma is on the mend and starting to get back to the great fishery we all know and love. I believe once the spawn is over we will get more big stripers to go with all these sand bass and before long the great flood of 2015 will be a distant memory. Meanwhile the new boat, new electronics, and I pilot trolling motor have made life much easier for me. I'm still learning it but it certainly makes it harder for the fish to hide. It's been a great couple weeks here on Lake Texoma.
