My wife and I fished Granbury yesterday, braved the winds. It was very slow early, but about 9:00 am, we was trolling rattle traps in about 10' of water on a flat just off the channel, between 337 and 51 bridges, and the screen lit up with fish, we hooked up as we trolled through, so we stopped and started casting roadrunners. It was fast and furious, most every cast was a hook up, mostly small sandies, but it was fun. We released all but 8, for a good fresh sandy fry. Despite the winds, it was good fishing.

That's good to know maybe they are headed back our way.

We're still in them heavy in the river. Still mostly males.
