Hey guys I am wondering if the run on the Nolan River is over? We fished it 14 days ago and caught 70 on our fly rods. 90% males and no big fat females? Went Thursday and nothing but a few really small males? did we miss it?

The time after the rain will indicate if the run is over or if a new wave of fish that include females is coming. Fished it about a month ago and didn't catch as much females as usually, so my guess is that the full run will start after the rain.

I see no mention of the Nolan River in the FF thread Look for Robert Hunters post. 
I'm on other forums that deal with the old turbo powered Buicks.;)
