Anyone fished them? looking into getting a nice jig and frog stick around the 7ft. mark.

I've had problems with the Envy line and breaking towards the tip, replaced 3 rods, I've moved on to another rod manufacturer. I've heard many other issues as well in other models.

Not sponsored at all, but the Dobyn's Fury line might suit your needs, similar price.

I've had a Omen Black 7'2 heavy rod that I use for flipping, paired with a concept "A" for over 3 years now and never had a problem.

I like the omen 1 rods. I can't stand the omen 2 series. They should not have changed the handle.

Look into the MajorCraft and Daiwa lineup as well. You won't regret it.

Count me in as one of the one's who has had problem's with the Omen series. 2 rods like described above that broke near the tip. Won't ever buy one again.

45.00 Daiwa airx 7.0H....MajorCraft 7.0H 169.99...I use both brands when I fish and landed a 4.8 on the Daiwa Airx flipping a jig. Let me know thanks!

Best bang for you buck in my mind, I have one for jig fishing and one for frogging.

Man, i hate to hear all the bad stuff about the 13 rods. I was looking at the envy series because i like the titanium recoil guides but with so many people having issues with them breaking ill hold off. I read that a few guys left bad reviews of them on tacklewarehouse, as well as the ones here.

I liked the backbone and sensitivity of the rods but they lack durability. I did land big fish with them but after 8-12 mons they all snapped on 2 pound fish fishin jigs and t-rigs. The guides would develop a funny sound after a while like rubbing against the flouro as well.

It was more of a disappointment for me than anger.

That looks good for the price.

I use original omen green rods saltwater fishing and they've held up really well for me so far.

I'm using a 7'1" Hvy Black Envy for light flipping with FC 25 Sniper line with a Concept "C".
A 7'6" Black Envy Hvy for 1.4oz - 2.0 with another Concept "C" reel. Going on a year, no problems as of yet.
Why not give the Envy a shot before "jumping ship"?
