This spring has been really tough for me. I have not been able to get on a steady bite with all of the flooding and constant cold fronts. So day yesterday, I decided to head to my favorite East Texas lake and see if I could find a pattern in my tube. I got to Cedar Creek around 10 am and found fish on the 2nd dock I fished. Caught about 10 fish on that one and started working my way back. I caught fish on all but 2 docks that I fished. Most docks had 5-8 keepers that were willing to bite on them. Most of which were spawned out already. I ended up catching number 25 on the 2nd to last dock. It was one of those days that I did everything perfectly and the fish were doing what they were supposed to be (not like the rest of the spring so far)and I was able to trick a few into biting. I used rocky tops in white/chart, black/chart and all chart. I also had my Sniper Rod dock shooter that worked great for pulling the fish out around all the poles. Sure was nice feeling the thump and by the looks of the forecast this could have been my last good trip for a while. Here is a short video before my GoPro died for some reason. Hope you all enjoy.

Nice video production. I like the way a tube puts ya at the optimal level for shootin docks, and leaves both hands free vs. a kayak.

Thanks for putting it together and sharing with us. Enjoyed it.

You are the man, a couple of questions I couldn't tell if you had waders on or not. Could you tell me if you did have waders and if so were they neoprene and how was the comfort level regarding water temp. Second, how difficult was it to gain access to the water in areas close to good docks?

good haul!!! north , south or mid lake?

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Yes, I was wearing waders. I have the breathable kind of waders (not sure if its neoprene though). Honestly, the water was pretty warm and I probably didn't even need the waders. It is definitely not easy reaching the good docks from where I put in but I could use the workout so I didn't mind.... I am actually still sore from it LOL. I hope this helps.

Thats what I call gettin down on their level. Nice video FA, and I do understand about the tough part. The crappie have been testing my patience, but the whitebass and cats are taking up the slack!
