If they're feeding, not much. If they're bedding and you know how to bed fish, not long. If they're not feeding or the weather has them messed up, it could be days. Dunno who or what big swerm is.

A couple of summers ago Pake caught the same fish on back to back casts. He caught her, took a picture and released her. He then sat down and took a swig of water and made the same cast to the same brush pile with a 6xd and caught her again! He recognized her and hollered "Daddy look at this! I just turned her loose!" It was in fact the same fish as we verified it with the pictures. This to my knowledge hasn't ever happened to me. Even with their little pea sized brains they all have their own personality and traits, I believe. With that said, some take more time than others and a lot depends on what Fouz just said.
