We been fishing a lot out there. It's been a lot of casting and not so many fish. Tons of slots being caught. A 13.76, 8.5, 7.6 all was caught by a guide early in week

Had a buddy fish there last Saturday. Only had 2 bites but both fish went 6.5-7 lbs.

I fished it last Wed afternoon through Friday morning and it was as tough as I have experienced in two years. I'm no pro but I fish Caddo a bit. Seemed like none of the historical patterns were working. The big flood waters from March had come down but those storms early last week bumped it up again almost two feet I think. Only put three in the boat and none were big. Lost two easy five pounders on frogs so at least a couple of good fish tried to play.

Saw a big gator that was easy ten feet long (maybe more). hopefully the pic comes through.

39 teams 9lbs won
38 teams 7lbs won
25 teams 19lbs won
20 teams 19lbs won

Caddo is fishing worse then ever since water came up 2ft last week then was falling. I literally had 4 bites all day Saturday and weighed in 10lbs for 3rd. Not a bite after 9:30. Buddy went today and had 2 bites. Water is 72. All fish weighed were poor condition which is typical for post spawn. Top water is picking up which won our deal. Is it worth the drive. Heck no!!

Just last Saturday to get in top 12 was over 20lbs with 30.81 winning I believe. Last Sunday was smoked them. Rain came and not no more. Even the guides were complaining. Lol
