I have a 5 weight and 8 weight Orvis rod. I think they're Clearwater or Encounter. One reel is Orvis Hydros and other is Clearwater.

My dog Lola goes everywhere with me. She's a German Shorthaired Pointer. She even has her own website - www.lolaeveryday.com.

Those are great man!

What kind of camera are you using for those? I always want to snap a few pics but never want to carry a camera around with me.

Very cool pictures! Loving the first one for sure and of course Lola. smile

Did a little video clip that's on my Instagram account of Knuckles fly casting that has that same concept as the first picture. Turned out pretty cool.

Keep the pictures coming!

First buffalo. They were all lined up on the bank of Lewisville Lake in about 1' - 2' water.

This might be a silly question, but - do you fly fish from your kayak? Or just paddle it to where you want to fish then get out and start casting?

I have a fly rod and a kayak but have yet to try it. I'm very much a novice on the fly so I imagine I'll have difficulty making casts from the seated position and so close to the water.

Also, great photos. cheers

I sometimes fly fish from my kayak, and yes, it is definitely more challenging to cast. If I'm on the river, I will stop and get out to cast in most situations. On the lakes I usually cast from the yak. It really helps to get the yak oriented in the right direction so you don't have to contort your body too much. also watch for rods that you may have sticking up behind you in a rod holder. I don't stand up in my yak, but if you could that would help immensely.
