Any reports on how the crappie and hybrids are doing any good?

Plentiful and shallow! I was out last Sunday and found that the crappie are hitting jigs and minnows in 2' of water around brush. Jig colors that worked best were black back over purple belly with very light movement. Channel cat bite has also greatly improved in much shallower water. The catfish look very close spawn as well. Sorry, no hybrid report! Good luck!
