What would be a good choice for lines to go red fishing with? I think the reel is now spooled with Rio Bonefish Quickshooter(bought used)and I have an extra spool so I was thinking I might need to use another type of line to go with the aforementioned?

that line you have on there is probably fine unless you are looking to replace it

Rio Mainstream is a slightly lighter line if you wanted a more delicate presentation. Your quickshooter and the Rio Redfish pretty much identical lines, no need to change there. The normal Rio Bonefish line has a 50 ft head vs a 36 ft quickshooter. It may give you more distance if that's what your looking for. The Outbound short has a 30 ft head, but is heavier than the quickshooter....

In all honesty, your quickshooter will probably be gravy. Maybe consider getting an intermediate line to fish subsurface.
