Registration starts at 5:30 AM at Oak Ridge. The tournament starts at 6:30 AM and runs until 2:30 PM. You have until 3:00 PM to bring your score sheets to be scored with payout and "the rest of the story" to follow.

Anglers may go out of any ramp they want too.

Results from Apr 14:

Once again we had light winds. But what we did have was light rain most of the morning and cooler temps. Some of the seniors complained their fingers were cold.

1st place went to Steve Eldred with a 4 fish at 14.69 pounds anchored by a 6.77 lunker..
2nd place went to Jeff Wilkerson with 3 fish for 14.52 and THE 7.56 lunker .
3rd place went to Stan Norton with 3 fish for 14.03 pounds and a 7.29 lunker.
4th place went to Curt Blount with 3 fish for 11.80 and a 5.69 lunker
5th place went to Jimmy Moreau with 5 fish for 9.24 with a 4.25 lunker.
6th place went to Steve Chick with 4 fish for 8.66 with a 3.64 lunker..

We paid 6 places and had 35 anglers fishing and caught 65 fish.

How are those weights even possible. Because we measure and release, and record on a laminated sheet.

The LFA fishes every other Thursday daytime at Lake Fork only. Persons interested in joining or fishing as a guest should e-mail me at sjbasser@aol.com.

Here is your opportunity to fish with friendly knowledgeable Lake Fork anglers for the cost of a $5 annual dues and a $13 entry fee. Slot fish count. No teams. We are currently at below cap and are looking for a few boaters but we will also accept "guests" who generally get to fish when regular members are away.

Sometimes Fork is a big question mark. But even though we don't always slay them a few will find them.
