I hope he does, he's going to have to overcome a lot of pressure and an extremely large flotilla of boats to do so. He's the obvious favorite.

I know he can handle the pressure of being the favorite, but the fish will be shallow and the flotilla could affect things for him.

It's gonna b whoever buys the best information that leads to the victory.

I see a business opportunity here. I'm going to stop fishing Rayburn and fish Conroe for a solid year. I'll give all my info to the angler that will cut me in at the highest percentage.

I'm pumped. Already marking it off on the calendar. Waypoints would be more valuable in a summer tournament. In March, should still be spawn and post-spawn patterns working.

Boom Boom makes a very good point. Combs has done his TTBC damage in the fall on Conroe fishing structure on South end. There will be a heck of a lot more boats above 1097 and 1375 for that matter next March.

No need to fish, just go drop some brush piles this winter and sell the GPS coordinates.

Even playing field, it will be won completely different than when combs won ttbc. Tons of shallow fish in late march

....sort of like pickin' the Super Bowl in April.

Fish spanker's right. This derby WILL NOT be won offshore. The winner will have shallow areas and a milk run of stuff 10-30 ft. 'Spots' on Conroe don't replenish like other lakes. The angler that wins will have a good mix of shallow and deep fish. Combs has expended tremendous effort to dial Conroe into his wheelhouse. Year round.

It'll be Keith's tournament to lose.

I know very little about tourney fishing, but doesn't Keith have to qualify first to be in the hunt for the classic? Just wondering.
