While fishing on Sunday, I came back to my trailer in the parking lot and someone had dragged their trailer across the corner and tore it up. Fortunately I was still able to load my boat on it and go home. The guy who did it came and found me to tell me it was him. He was very apologetic, really nice, and I was also very nice. $hit happens. He gave me his insurance info and State Farm called me Monday morning to get an estimate on the repair. I used this as a great teaching moment for my 12yo son who was with me about how this guy did the right thing by owning up and making things right. I suppose he could have just driven off.

My question is if anyone can recommend a trailer repair shop in the Fort Worth area. I don't know much about this stuff but I think it needs fiberglass and trailer light work. As far as I can tell the frame is not affected. It's a 2007 Ranger Z20. New to me. cry

I was able to pull it out and at least make it usable to get home.

Johnson Fiberglass in Burleson does very good work at a fair price.

I doubt that is repairable. Contact your dealer and get the cost of replacing the fender. I did that earlier on my Skeeter trailer.

I've had several people tell me that so I'm getting a new fender.

UPDATE:

I got my trailer repaired by Chris up at Classic Fiberglass in Denton and I want to put in a good word for him here. He did all the legwork for ordering the new fender from Ranger which took a couple of months to arrive. He got the trailer fixed pretty quickly and the trailer looks perfect now. I was glad that it wasn't like alot of places where you drop off your trailer/boat and it sits for 1-2 weeks before they get to it. I like that he was easy to communicate with via email. The service was great and I feel like he really went out of his way for me since I've had a tough time getting off work to get my trailer to him and then picking it up later.
