Got out again today for about 2 hours. I took my ice chest today! Caught 18 with 14 being keepers. I used a 1/16 oz pink jig head with a Thump Jumper froggy in salt and pepper that Lane made for me. Thanks Lane. It held up for all 18 until I got hung up and lost it. By then it was time to head home.

Yay, that was the biggest. Really fat too. I'll find out if it is full of eggs tomorrow.

Good looking fish Rodney. Just looking at your picture, it's cool to me that you have white males, white females, black males and black females. That's just a really cool picture and my book. Thanks for the shout out by the way! I'm glad they worked out for you.

I knew I had a black male for sure, didn't realize I had the female, also. And they all came off the same brush pile!

It's hard to tell, and I may be wrong, but the fish that is in the top right of the picture, with only it's back sticking out, looks like a black female. This was an assumption based on the color of the fish, and how it's not showing much sign of the spring color change. Obviously, I know the consequences of what happens when I assume things.

Regardless, I'm hungry now.
