I was just wondering if the shad are spawning and/or the blues are in the shallow water after em yet. I'm wanting to plan a trip down there Apr./May. Because of the mild winter, this year's fishing patterns seem to be coming earlier than the past.

Any info appreciated.

Thanks.

I heard they were in shallow water last weekend, from a guy who went down and caught 108 keepers Sat. Maybe 200 all together with throw backs. Said the wind kicked their butts, so they had to fish closer to shore where there was less wind.
