What hollow body frog do you like best?

Also which ones are the easiest to walk the dog with.

I use Spro. Trim one of the legs 1/8" shorter than the other one and they all walk easier.

The bronze eye KVD and live target. I will use both popping and walking style. I find that soft jerks living a little slack line helps when I try walking but still not real efficient still learning. Caught a really nice 7 last weekend on a walking style thru the alligator grass. Boy was I fooled when the fish first hit as it was a small slurp not an explosion.

Spro Bronzeye Poppin' Frog

1. My favorite frog for windy days or muddy water is definitely the Poppin' Frog. The cupped lip of this frog really throws a lot of water and it enables the fish to key in on it easier. I've never had a problem with hookups with this frog. Great walking action and durable plastic as well! Remember, the fish has got to see it, to eat it.

2. For the times when I think bass are keying in on shad, I throw a shad shaped frog like the Bronzeye Shad 65. It has more of a shad-like profile and it has a killer walking action that you wish every frog had. Another thing they did with this frog is they put the skirts vertical to each other, and that really makes the bait walk well.

3. This is my standard, go to frog. The Swamp Donkey has everything you want in a frog. It's easy to walk, has a durable yet pliable plastic, and the details on this frog are great!

4. Sometimes bass have a hard time committing to a frog or a lure on the surface. That doesn't mean they won't eat it, that just means you need to downsize a little bit. The LiveTarget frog is a nice, little bite-sized offering for those pressured, pesky bass. The number one thing about this frog is the body. It is the softest on the market and has the best hookup ratio.

5. This is my wildcard. If you ask me, anglers in the last 10-15 years have really looked past throwing a rat-style bait and you don't see many guys throwing them. If you give this bait a try, I promise you'll catch bigger fish than on a frog. Not just because it's a bigger profile, but because bass love rats. Just go to Youtube and look up some videos of bass eating rats. If I have a limit in the boat and I'm looking for a kicker fish, I always tie on this bait. And so far, it hasn't let me down.

I have caught some big bass in Central Texas on the Paycheck Baits The Transporter frog. I use it when they want the frog just sitting there. Cast out next to reeds, etc..., give it a pop or two and just let it sit there. I do modify the frog to get a better hook-up ratio. I add a larger EWG frog hook and a bronze blade for more flash. However, they do not walk well.

One I use the most is the live target 65 size. Easiest to walk IMO. Also looks the best and can be twitched super slow when they want a subtle presentation. Fairly durable. There are times when the little live target 45 will get bites when nothing else will, particularly with pressured fish in ultra clear water. For some reason the medium size Live Target hasn't worked as well for me.

Choppy or stained water is the Spro Popping Frog or Ishs Poppin Phattie.

The Stanley Top Toad and the Scum Frog bigfoot are also in the mix when they want to chase something but a buzzbait will hang up...

Spro popping frog is best overall frog IMO easy to walk or u can pop it like a yellow magic. Best walking frog is live target, their large size is my go to for bigger fish i am not a fan of the swamp donkey

I really like the H20 express frogs, I got one last year on an impulse buy and was very impressed, in my opinion they walk better then SK or Spro and seem to hold up better too. I got a bunch of them now and they all seem to be really good so far, plus they are a great bargain.
