Nice pics. I like your style. I love fishing little creeks for sunfish. For me its been really good lately unles it rains likek it is righjt now then creek get too murkey. But 2 days later they are clear as can be again. Mosquitoes are bad up in Denton and so are the snakes and worst of all the chiggers! I wear knee high boots now when going in the tall grass to avoid the chiggers. I like to do what I cal the roadrunner challenge and hop around down to different little semi urban creeks and catch as many different species all off of a roadruner of your choice. I like the white ones with feathers or rubber curly tail.

Thanks Mike for the reply. Yes Sir I have always enjoyed creek fishing. It is a change of pace and yes you can catch some really nice fish. Creeks down here are going to need a few days to settle down. We got between 4 to 7 inches of rain over the past week.

Thanks Curtis for the reply. Right now I have been catching more fish in the creeks than anywhere else. All the river lakes are taking on a lot of water from Canyon Lake and have strong currents. The water is also cold. Fishing for sunnies on the Guadalupe so far has been a little slow. Creek fishing on the other hand has been pretty good. Getting good quality fish in good numbers. As for the Rio bite on the creeks I have caught a few but nothing big. It should be getting better as we approach the summer months. Thanks Chuck for the info!

Thanks HC for the reply! Love that creek fishing! Side Note: Creeks are just now starting to dry up some. We have dodged a bullet these last two days with the rain. Were supposed to get 2 to 5". Not including the 8" I have gotten this month. So far the rain has missed us. Looks like Austin,San Marcus, and the Bryan College Station areas got HAMMERED!
