Does anyone have a recent report for either lake? I don't need exact locations. ..I am just trying to figure out the best gameplan for next week when I take my mom fishing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Proctor is finally starting to turn on although every time they try to move shallow we get another cold front. If your boat fishing they have finally moved onto the brush piles. If bank bound the piers at Copperas Creek and Promontory have been off and on just due to weather. The dam has been good but crowded. Fishing rocks shallow at night has also been decent. For good keeper size fish I would recommend Proctor over Brownwood thus the reason we get a lot of Brownwood folks fishing Proctor. Jigs have been out catching minnows big time.

Thank you Don G!! We are bank bound (I will be tubing a little) and that is great information. We may never even make it there (Proctor) , but it is good to have some optiins. Thanks again.

I'll be at Brownwood this weekend to try it again. Every weekend I've gone there's been a cold front or rain. Looks that way again this weekend, but we'll see. May end up at proctor though to try something different, I'll keep you updated.
