Ok, Brandon. I know you have your kiddo's rodeo thing. It comes first in my book. I don't want to mess that up. I didn't figure you could get loose for all weekend, and also wanted to let others who might be interested get a chance to try out my thumper.
I will be there Thursday night. I want to fish Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
I will leave Monday am for home.
I don't want to get down there without a boat, and everyone who wanted to take me out, cancel or not show up.
It may work better for me to plan on taking my boat, anyway. PM your cell number.

I received more calls from folks that fish Buchanan, so I plan to make the trip with my boat and a few thumpers.
I plan to be there fishing Friday through Monday am.
I plan to stay on the east side but not positive where yet.
If any of you are around, I'll be in a white with a blue stripe, 21ft. Wellcraft 210CC.
My boat, not Brandon's. So don't throw rocks, please. lol
I'll be the boat that you can hear thumping away with a rod in my hand instead of a boat oar. lol
Look me up and give me a yell.

anyone have a good report? I am driving down form Dallas today and will be at thunderbird lodge. trying to decide if I am taking my boat. thinking about it.

I postponed my trip for now. I wasn't sure what the weather was going to do, and didn't want to sit in a room most of the time because of thunderstorms. I also had some unexpected work that came up I needed to take care of.
I only had a couple of guys who were going to be able to meet up and check out my thumpers, also. I had hoped to have a better response from several people.
From what I am hearing there are some good fish toward the north end around the islands, due west of Thunderbird Lodge. That is where I had planned to stay also.
I hope ya'll have a good trip!
