Where is the best chance to catch a grass carp in the metroplex? I get on these kicks where I will go fishing everyday for a certain fish or hunt everyday or whatever and lately I've wanted to catch a grass carp but don't know where to look. Any ideas?

Dang I guess none around. I don't want GPS coordinates just a lake. What's the best lake in Texas to catch them?

Purtis Creek Park closest. Lake Austin is for sure the best bet.

Most of the ponds I've heard that have grasses in DFW are private, in developments, apartment complexes, etc.

i cant remember seeing any in DFW ,Like mention Purtis creek is a good choice . You can set up across the dam on your right by the bathroom and fish in the day use area , be prepare to catch some nice cats before the grassers come in . you have to take the grassers out if a park official is nearby bolt

P.B. Carp ....29 lbs .... P.B. Buffalo 34.4
