I recently purchased a very cheap NGT rod pod with bite amarms for $62 shipped on ebay. It does work ok but the parts are a bit cheap and a little wobbly and unstable in high winds. But for the money in all honesty it works just fine. I set up today with 2 rods using a combo of sweet corn, Tutti frutty corn pips and one piece of fake corn on hair rigs. I landed 3 carp one yellow cat and one angry turtle. The first 2 were female and the second was larger male at 14.5 lbs and 32". Now I am addictited the the BEEP! Its great because now I can bass and crappie fish at the same time. I caught one tiny crappie in the creek nearby today while waiting for the carp to bite. I took my camera and tripod out again today. Luckily on the last fish of the day a friend showed up right as it took off so he was able to pick up the camera and get better angles on the big one of the day. Check out video to see the action. i need to come up there one weekend with jesse. wish you could have made it to the waco fish in saturday, it was insane for me, I put the bass rod out with some white and pink plastic maize and the buffs was killing it. I did lose one fish that i think was a common to the cat tails after a long drag pulling battle which was intense on a medium action 6'6 bass rod haha. good video btw.
