Sunday 4-10-16 Flounder still on the list for fishing. Strong south winds are good and bad. Strong incoming tides, with strong south winds, pushing salt water in the lake. The water on the south end was looking better as the south winds picked up. Specks are showing up in small schools, no birds, but things are slowly turning around. This time of year can be tough, or could be your best day. Fish are out there, finding the hungry ones is the hard part. Staying out of the wind is not so hard, so working the south shore line and protected waters, makes fishing more enjoyable. Caught everything on 4" Gulp paddle Tails.LUCKYLINDYCHARTERS@YAHOO.COM

Are you eating fish out of Sabine or catch and release only. I have family there that will not eat them. I would love to come down fishing.

I'd eat them before I'd eat fish from Galveston bay areas...

Thanks for the report. Need to get my LA license and head down there to hit my flounder holes. I have been craving some stuffed Sabine flounder.
