 First Striper, is fun..

Well i do like bass fishing and i am kinda new to it and to the area lakes. Been fishing mainly squaw creek, but i have read about your stripers on pk... so i was bass fishing on pk this past saturday, and moved into a cove and so some activity, i got close and threw a crankbait and they hit it, then i remembered that i had a umbrella rig there that i didnt like for bass fishing, so i took it and threw it a couple of times and i go another one... it was really fun.. i think i will get more into this now....

Stripers have ruined many bass fisherman i can see why... so also while i was here, i threw a C-rig(looking for bass) and they were chasing or looking at the worm but they never hit it i noticed when i was reeling it to the boat... so i have read about "deadsticking? so you basically suspend a fluke or senko or what?... how else can i catch them? trolling? live bait? casting them(already know about that)... i might try a fishing guide this upcoming months...

This will answer your deadsticking question. http://deadstickingheadquarters.com/about/You can catch them with the techniques you mentioned above. Live shad, seine some ghost minnows. Trolling. Cast swimbaits, ratl traps, topwater lures. Anything that resembles a shad or ghost minnows.
