Pretty good bite today in Hickory Creek off Lewisville. Seemed to be best around brush and timber in 6-12ft of water fishing 5-8 ft down with jigs. Bobby Garland Baby Shads in several different colors did the trick. This little guy and a few of his brothers had some really big appetites.

Bobby garlands have been my bait of choice for a few years now and i agree, Hickory creek has been fantastic this year. We hadn't done great on the crappie as i wish i had but sand-bass and hybrids have been full tilt!
