BASS Live is great. Zona does what he can to entertain and educate when the catching is slow. Some of his comments are ridiculous but I am not aware of anyone that could do better in that role. He clearly makes an effort to make the show better. It is also nice to have someone like Zona involved that actually knows competitive bass fishing. However his relationships with some of the anglers has the potential to bias his commentary on BASS Live. Overall maybe it does not matter because there isn't any real (unbiased & independent) media coverage in professional bass fishing for either circuit.

When I first started watching years back, Zona got on my last nerve. Now I really like the guy. Figured out what the above stated, that he is trying to make fishing "fun". I now really like his sense-of-humor smile
