And if so how did you do? We put in at site 7 after waiting in the longest line I've ever seen at that ramp. Fished from Indian Creek up to Hausen and caught two fish all day. One small buck bass in 3 foot of water and one about 3 lbs on Mcgee flats. I tried everything from 1 ft to 20ft and never really felt like I was even around fish. I don't get to fish the lake very often but I've never seen as many boats on the lake in my life. Just looking to see how others did and maybe shed some light on what I may have been doing wrong.

Also, found a piece of clothing laying on my trailer when I got back to the ramp, if anyone can claim it I can get it back to you. God bless

We fished Thursday afternoon through Saturday night. We had 10 guys fishing. Two guys fished on Wednesday and caught some good fish. Thursday we did pretty good. Friday was worse, but still caught a few. Saturday was by far the worst day to fish with seemingly the best weather. Between 10 guys fishing hard for three days, we never boated a fish larger than 4.5 pounds.

I'll try to write a more detailed report in the next couple of days.

Couple factors going on....

Post spawn
Lake has been hammered last few weeks
Probably an oilmans going on this past weekend
The area fished is by far the most crowded on the lake. This time of year in those areas you have to be doing something very specific to get on less pressured fish or go way north to get away from crowds

Hey Jaret. Just wanted to tell you your information was spot on last week. We caught a few fish out of the haygrass around Solan's, Bison (sp?), and Anderson Island. Caught a few on c-rig as well. Thanks for the help.

Although it sounds like you did better than I did, I'm glad I wasn't the only one out there that struggled. There was very little time Saturday that I couldn't see another boat from my position, and I never saw anyone else boat a fish all day. Looking forward to a more detailed report. Doubt it will help anyone, but the small fish I caught was on a secondary point close to deep water on the edge of some haygrass in Indian creek, on a TX rig fighting frog, and the one decent fish I caught was in about 12 ft on a pb&j football head.

Constant boats running around and fishing pressure definitely plays a part
