The big greenies are starting to move to nesting areas. A few are on beds, the rest are fanning or looking that perfect spot to set up housekeeping. In my favorite pond for sunfish, in crystal clear water, i saw both bass and sunny beds, and big bass and very large sunnies cruising around all around the pond1 Caught the biggest Longear I have ever seen or caught, along with about 10 bass and several smaller greenies. Here's the longear. I am sure you guys have caught bigger ones, but I haven't. Wish i had put it on a tape measure. Pic does not do it justice.  Rudy

That is a fatty for sure Rudy! Nice fish.  You are right. It is that time of year. Fish are ACTIVE!

If the creeks would stop flooding we would be seeing a lot more Longear catches. Nice fish Rudy.
