A friend of mine is flooding me ideas of launching my 22 ft blazer bay below the dam. My tundra is not a 4x4. I probably wont go for it, but do you guys think a Toyota FJ Cruiser will be able to launch my boat below the dam? It's a 4x4.

I'd wait for some local input. It's not about putting in in that sand it's about water level and high spots meeting up with that fiberglass...

Go there and ask Doyle, the old guy who is there every day building a fire and always has a beer in his hand. he will know. He sits by his truck with his two little dogs and there are usually a couple of other guys there talking to and drinking with him. He sometimes launches the guides' boats for them.

Save your money, hire a guide. The river can wreck a rig and boat

That is why I probably won't do it. Especially for being a newbie boat owner. Thanks for talking me out of it. Lol. I'll stick to the main lake.
