Only 4.78' over now. I wonder how soon they will open some ramps? Besides the useless Katie's Woods.

I would imagine it will take some time as most of the ramps were underwater for the better part of a year.

So I gave up and drove out to have look. Katie's Woods parking lot is open and there were a dozen or so trailers in it. That steep ramp don't accommodate many. Maybe only one at a time. At least it is usable now since there is some parking. Lake was churning with the wind today and murky all over from what I could see. Not sure it would be worth trying some dock shooting with the water falling so fast. Falling water level has never been much good to me.

Good to know the parking lot is open. What a beating finding a parking spot on the street. The deep water ramp is small, but it is a great design with the way you can turn around and back down into the water.

Better get out there fast. Denton Creek water shed is getting hammered again this morning. Raybob and Lewisville will be gettin it too. If they get a lot then GV will probably stop letting out water and up she comes again. GV is really a nasty mess all around in the park areas. Those price gouging marinas will probably double the rates for slip rentals if they haven't already done so.
GV lake level at +4.58 this morning.

She is at +3.61 right now. Other ramps should open soon. There is really no good reason that at two others could not be opened right now. Lakeview North and Meadowmere high water could be used right now if they would just get off their butts.

They have to wait for the sub grade to dry, other wise the parking and turn around areas will end up being giant pot holes. Wont be long!

Put in at Katie's woods yesterday. Wasn't bad since the parking lot is open. Managed to burn up some of the old gas that's been sitting in the tank for who knows how long. Didn't see much on graph and side scan in main lake deep water but coves and shallow areas have lots of fish. No fishing, just running out the old gas. Observed several other ramps that could be used if they would just open them.

GV at +2.41 this morning. After tomorrow she be rising again most likely. Only good thing is there is gonna be a lot of fish in this old lake one of these days with all the flooding and no fishing pressure to speak of for the last 2 years.
