Has anyone ever tried the Ned rig for crappie fishing? I was fishing a bass tournament yesterday and had a red z man shroomz jig head with a green pumpkin red flake bat wings and anytime I tried to swim it the crappie would smash it lol.

Brother, I thought the names of some crappie baits were funny. Haven't tried it, but a moving bait in spring is usually good for those males. They like to attack things that get close to them, especially if it moves.
