I called Do It Molds where I got the plastic from and they said that I must have gotten a bad batch. They are mailing me another 2.5 gallons today for free! This plastic works great when injecting. Just bubbles up on the hand poured baits.

That is an excessive amount of bubbles. I'm no expert but some suggestions that helped me were: Start with a well mixed plastic but not shaken up. Each time you heat let the cup sit for a few seconds and the bubbles will rise to the top. Spoon off the bubbles then stir slowly to get even heat distribution. Repeat until reaching the 350 degree temp. Your pics are also showing cold cracks. The plastic is too cold when adding colors. The layers are not bonded and it will peel apart. Burnt plastic too much heat for to long a period. I changed from a 1200 watt oven to a 900 watt and that made a huge difference in heating slowly. Good Luck in your pours!

You are correct on all counts. Sounds like an expert to me! I peeled the layers apart on the baits in my first picture. I was heating my plastic only 20-30 seconds in between stirring. The plastic only had about a 10 second window before turning orange and burnt. I tried a new batch of plastic and it's been like night and day. No bubbles and the plastic will stay clear. I'm glad I practiced with that bad plastic first. Makes me appreciate the new stuff that much more.

What is the length of the top-far left shad colored bait, the one that is vertical?

It's a 5" bait. It was my most popular one today by far. This bass really liked it.

Tried a couple bream color patterns today and had to replace my shad pattern that I finally tore up beyond repair.

That 5" bait looks like money. I may have to take a couple off of your hands. thumb
