The other day on the water my voltage regulator caught fire. I was just wondering if it has 2 voltage regulators on it. There is two boxes that are identical size but everything is burnt up so I can't tell if it's another regulator or what. The first one come straight off the stator and down to it then the other box is off the wires coming out of the voltage regulator

There should be 2. Replacements have fuses to stop this. One is above the other. Just replaced my top one. Always make sure your starting battery is fully charged everytime you go out. Cost of new regulator is 155.00 per unit so it is less expensive to make sure starting battery is good and fully charged before use.
