Please do everyone a favor and use the search function. Then delete your post. There are a lot of opinions that were previously posted.

When people get on here and talk about them the thing that comes across is they are cheaper made then other top end boats. The guys that do fish them seam to like then. They are cheaper and most likely the main reason the cheap comment comes in because their have been comments on the carpet and hatch not closing easy. I haven't seen much on hulls or problems with them. I think they will do the job and you will be ok in buying one just look it over well and do not over pay. just my .02

Really enjoyed both Nitro's I have had. In a Z6 right now. Great fishing platforms and good ride. Haven't had any problems so far. IMHO there really isn't a bad boat out there to buy any more. So ride in some and see how you like them and buy from a good dealer. We bought from BPS in Garland and they have been great but I know a lot of BPS aren't so nice.

Love my Z-9, Great platform, lots of storage, takes rough water well, No problems. Take a ride in one, I'm in central Texas, I'm sure someone will give a ride close to you.

Nitro has come a long way in overcoming issues from the past with the introduction of the Z series line, although that stigma still remains with many not with me. I been out a dozen times or so in a friends Z9 and there is much to like about it. It rides good and fishes well although I have not been out in over 2' rollers so I cant vouch for the rough water ride. Personally my biggest issue with the purchase of a new Nitro would be If I had to deal with BPS afterwards, that alone would be a deal breaker for me.

the best boat is the one that each guy owns i buy used boats every 2-3 years havent had problems with any of them just bought a triton ---its great i wouldnt buy a new anything ---tremendous depreciation -- 20% hit the first time you drop it on a trailer ball there are good and bad of anything !

Thanks. Before i submitted this post i used the search but didnt fond what i was looking for. Thanks you to the ones that replied with an actual answer. What were you looking for? Haha. I have two. I have an older boat and I have a brand new one. The older one is a 640 with a Mercury 75. The new one is a Z20 with a 250 xs. The old one is old....and pretty reliable. It's slow, under powered, bad in wind, waves, anything but calm. The new one is fast, really fast, rides pretty good, looks great. Both have Mercury motors, minn Kota tm, humminbird electonics. The latches on my old one work fine. The gel coat still looks new. The old one is 18 years old. Looks better than most 5-6yrnold boats. My new one looks like a billboard. Lol the old one has no storage, the new one has "better" storage. I have had a few other Nitros. Most have been great. One was a POS. not badly designed, poorly built. Have been in a few z8's and z9's. All are great boats. Like said above...cheaper carpet, cheaper materials=cheaper price. I catch the same number and quality of fish from a Nitro as I am sure I would from a Skeeter or Ranger or whatever. If your rich....buy a Ranger If your not....buy a Nitro Both will get around fine. Both will have an issue since God didn't make them. They all use the same brands (mostly) of stuff bolted to the hull. Resale is average.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.
