I recently fished lake bonham and went in to the little store there. The lady was nice as could be and I recommend stopping in to say hi. Her and her husband were telling be about not 1 but 2 new lakes that are in the working for construction up there. They had maps of where they would be and everything. Looked quite interesting, and I love a new lake (especially for duck hunting). Was wondering if anybody knew a bit more about it and a time estimate for construction. I'm sure it will be held up by land owners and legal stuff.

Lower Bois d'arc Creek Reservoir I read the dam is supposed to be done in 3-4 years on this one.

I think the original plan was to have it open in 2019. Doesn't look like that's going to happen now!
