Kennedy Park is the only ramp open, fishing has been pretty good. We have some yakkers staying with us and they caught a couple of 9s yesterday. I know of a 12,10 and those two 9lbers this week. That being said you better check the weather, we have 60% chance of rain tomorrow and its supposed to be windy Saturday and Sunday.

Can you still get a big boat unloaded / loaded at your ramp?

Yes, bass boats and pontoons are still able to unload. The ramp has about 3 1/2' of water on it, it should be useable thru May no problem. Hopefully it will rain.

Prayers sent Jerry. It filled up once in a hurry. It has to happen again. It has been a long time coming. I hope the dam holds when it does.

We did ok on Sunday. Caught 10 fish total the biggest being around 3lbs. Most guys we talked to had very tough days. The day after a storm/front I think we did ok. Most fish were caught at the mouths to creeks/coves in the rocky ledges. Few spawners but they weren't locked on yet.

We launched thursday with zero issues, you do have to back in pretty deep and then it's a LONG walk back to the truck when you're done.
